Unlike the more oxidative styles often linked with Savagnin, this wine is made ouill, meaning the barrels are topped up during ageing to keep a fresher, more direct fruit profile. The wine has notes of grapefruit zest, yellow fruit, almond, light smoke and gentle spice. A short skin contact before pressing adds texture,
