Gordon’s solo shows were a fixture during the early years of P & H and we were touched and honoured that an artist so much in demand at the time allowed us to represent him south of the border

It is an endless mystery to me that paintings of this quality and decorative potential

I copied it and tried to emulate his terrifying and dynamic style
