When pentadecapeptide BPC 157 was given immediately after paracetamol, BPC 157 rats started to rear on hind legs and shake shortly after paracetamol application while after 10 minutes, they became sleepy, with a tottering walk, after 35 min they regained normal behavior, drank (but not excessively) and then ate and showed no behavioral abnormalities until their sacrifice ( Table 5 )
New capillary networks formed through BPC-157-induced angiogenesis deliver oxygen-rich blood to hypoxic regions of the injured tendon, reversing the low-oxygen environment that otherwise delays cellular repair activity
The injectable form gets into the bloodstream faster and in higher amount making it a good choice for models that need quick response
In animal studies, rats with hypertension experienced blood pressure reductions of 15-25 points after BPC-157 administration (Barisic et al., 2013)
It is not a DEA-scheduled substance, so possession is not illegal but it also cannot be legally marketed as a drug or dietary supplement
