In primary culture of satellite cells, the LASSS-treated HGF (Figure 1f, bars 9 and 11 , at 5 ng/ml without or with exposure to peroxynitrite, respectively) normally activates satellite cells to a level equivalent to the positive control ( bar 2 ) as revealed by BrdU-incorporation assay
